About — Ambrent

We don’t sell marketing tactics.
We engineer growth.

A philosophy, a practice, and an independent studio in Los Angeles building marketing systems and processes for the AI era.

The Thesis

Marketing is no longer a creative discipline.
It’s an engineering one.

For two decades, marketing rewarded the loudest message. The cleverest tagline. The biggest budget. That world is ending. Today, attention is fragmented across a dozen surfaces, search ends without a click 58% of the time, and an AI model decides whether your business gets cited in the answer to a buyer’s question.

Most agencies are still selling the old playbook — a brand video, a paid social burst, a quarterly report full of impressions. We think that model is broken. The brands that win the next decade won’t be the loudest. They’ll be the ones with the best systems: pipelines that capture demand, content engines that publish at the speed of the market, and infrastructure that makes them visible everywhere a buyer looks — search, AI chat, social, inbox.

That’s what we build. Not campaigns. Engines.

What We Believe

Five things
we hold to be true.

01

Pipeline over impressions.

If a metric doesn’t tie to revenue, we’re skeptical of it. Reach is a flattering number. Pipeline pays the bills.

02

Systems over campaigns.

A campaign ends. A system compounds. We build the latter — infrastructure that keeps working long after the launch.

03

Compound over spike.

Viral is a lottery ticket. We invest in topical authority, owned audiences, and content engines that grow more valuable every month.

04

AI is a tool, not a shortcut.

We use AI to move faster, not to think less. Every output is human-edited, brand-trained, and accountable to a strategy.

05

Small businesses deserve enterprise systems.

The infrastructure that used to require a Fortune 500 budget is now accessible to a 10-person team. We make sure it’s built right.

The Founder

Michael Barkev Kechichian.

Founder

Los Angeles, California

Michael’s background sits at an unusual intersection: sales operations — lead cleansing, lead generation, the un-glamorous infrastructure that determines whether a marketing program actually converts — paired with hands-on AI optimization and scalability work for small and medium-sized businesses.

Along the way he’s done social media marketing, run consulting engagements with small businesses, and seen up close where the seams in modern marketing actually are.

Ambrent started with a frustration.

Small and medium-sized businesses, the ones that make up most of the economy, were being left behind by the AI shift in marketing. Either they didn’t know how to adapt, or they couldn’t find anyone willing to help them adapt without a six-figure retainer. The tools were available. The expertise wasn’t. Ambrent exists to close that gap: to bring AI-native marketing systems to the businesses that need them most, without the agency markup or the enterprise complexity.
